FAQ
How does the hybrid coaching approach work?
Traditional coaching involves you and the coach meeting virtually or in-person for a pre-determined period of time, and a certain number of times each month.
While this approach is extremely effective, busy leaders often have questions or situations between sessions and would like "just-in-time" coaching support.
Catalyst has created the combination of the two approaches -- 1 or 2 face-to-face coaching sessions along with unlimited asynchronous coaching using our private coaching portal.
This will approach offers the support, encouragement and accountability you want, when you want it, while not adding extra to your already busy schedule when you'd prefer less.
Why is the coaching 6-months and not less?
From my experience, personally and with clients, navigating a challenge or making a change isn't a short-term "thing". Allowing yourself six months is realistic and leads to the greatest success.
Change isn't easy and its not uncommon to hit a "rough patch", This is where coaching can truly make a positive difference.
How does the application process work?
We have an application process to ensure that we have an opportunity to meet. In this session we will review your application so that I have a clear understanding of your challenges and goals. It will also give you an opportunity to ask any questions or address any concerns.
Then if we both agree that you are a good fit, we can discuss next steps for enrollment. No heavy sales pressure - we just focus on you and your vision of the future! My goal is for you to be 100% confident Catalyst is right for you.
What is the investment?
We will discuss this if you and I agree that Catalyst is right for you.
Having said that, we currently have a few options available for you to consider.
1) A fast action offer with a savings incentive. We only have a few spots for this offer - and its first come, first served.
2) A split pay option. Pay a registration free upon acceptance + 5 equal payments.
3) Our best value is our pay-in-full option. You may want to take advantage of our buy-now-pay-later partners too.
Can you invoice my employer directly?
Yes, we can for our pay in full option. We require all payments to be received before coaching begins. You may want to discuss this with the accounting department to avoid delays or interruptions.
What if I want to extend my coaching experience?
We are always open to our clients opting to work with us for additional time. We will discuss this prior to the end of your current term, and the investment costs.
What is the time commitment?
Depending on you, we will meet for 1 or 2 60 minute virtual face-to-face coaching sessions each month. Each coaching session will create action items for you to undertake. These action items may be something you do alone, or need to interact with others you work with. If you also reach out asynchronously then there will be some time attached to it too.
I generally find it will vary from week to week or month to month, however 5-8 hours a month can be expected. many times this is integrated in what you do every day in your role at work and the changes you are working on.
What if I think I need something different?
During your application review call, or at any point during our time together, we can discuss your thoughts and determine if its workable for both of us, any cost implications, and whether it will deliver the value and results you envisage.
Investing in yourself and your future can seem overwhelming--expecially if work isn't quite what you want to handle or if you're invisible and feel like you're "a lone wolf".
That's ok.
If you're not sure if Catalyst is for you, I recommend you apply anyway and if it's not a fit, we can explore other options.
