What is the difference between executive and business coaching?
Executive Coaching primarily focuses on You, the leader or executive and your role in the organization. Together we focus on your role, leadership, decision making, communication and creating and improving processes used. Sessions can also include strategy & planning, building relationships, and problem solving. Although executive coaching can be used by any leader, it is more commonly used by leaders in larger organizations who are looking for tools so they can create and execute their own plans. Executive Coaching is usually a one-to-one relationship between the leader and the coach.
In contrast, business coaching will focus more on current problems and actionable solutions that can be easily implemented. Business coaching will include all aspects of your business – financial, people, marketing, systems and processes, product and services, and business growth. It can also include issues described under executive coaching. At Ignite Leadership we have over 3 decades of experience leading small & medium businesses and non-profits. How long are coaching terms?
From our experience, most business leaders do best when they commit to a longer term as our work together involves transformation and the achievement of specific agreed upon results. This takes time.
We recognize that starting with a new coach can leave you less confident with a long commitment. Therefore we have Activate (a short jump-start option) that is a 3-month term. It is for a single issue that you are ready to take action on and believe it will be solved in 3 months or less. Our most popular term is our Accelerate 6-month option.
Many of our clients renew their coaching agreements for 1-2 years or more.
Do you have a guarantee in your coaching programs?

We are located in Canada and serve a global client base. As part of our values, we believe that if you are located in Canada and paying using a Canadian bank account or credit card, then you should have the option to pay in Canadian dollars. You pay the same price + GST/HST as our international clients who all pay using US dollars. It’s our way of supporting Canadians while serving the globe in a currency most other coaches use.
I have purchased an online course. What if I have questions or problems, do I have access to a Coach?
Most of our online courses are self-directed so you can complete them at your own pace. In most instances they do not have any coaching connected to them. We do offer a laser coaching program (ActionTakers) that is a great companion to the online courses. These laser sessions are a great option to help you execute changes in your business too.
