As an entrepreneur, I know the challenges of looking for work. I always say entrepreneurs are professional job seekers. Many of my friends and clients however are not entrepreneurs. Some have changed jobs within one organization, while others have moved between organizations.
Years ago, before I started my entrepreneurial path, I moved from job to job every 2-3 years. I would get bored or frustrated or yearned to learn new skills. Through this process I found ways to get noticed and land that next "perfect-for-now" job.
When I started coaching, I helped other professionals and senior leaders land their dream jobs. They had high hopes and just needed the support and encouragement to make it a reality. It was fun celebrating each of those wins!
